According to the census, she had her first child at the age of abt 16 and that would actually give 1857 as a possible marriage year ie what I have for John's marriage to Jean Currie BAIRD John JORDON Birth: 30 Apr 1858 Jedburgh, Roxburgh, Scotland Father: John JORDON Mother: Jane LUNN Batch number: C117921 William JERDON Birth: 17 May 1861 Jedburgh, Roxburgh, Scotland Father: John JERDON Mother: Jane LUNN Batch number: C117921 I wonder if this is the widow of our John JARDINE b abt 1831& maybe Jean BAIRD died or perhaps she had had a previous marriage. The son John JARDINE that I have as born in Midlothian was actually born about the same time as the John above for the Jane LUNN marriage.
