   General Notes:

* Birth of an unnamed female child born on 25 May 1862 at Park St, Hobart, and registered on 9 June by the child's father Peter Coridarz. Birth information wrong in indices (says mother is "Sarah Smith") but the Sarah seems to come from the following entry. Main register entry states the parents as Peter Coridarz (Labourer) and Catherine nee Smith.

Julia was the second woman to arrive in the wild mining town of Cue. She must have suffered extreme hardship and privation in those early days with a family of nine, seven of whom were sons.

Julia married William Edwin BASTER, son of William BASTER and Harriet HORNER, in 1880 in Beechworth, Victoria, Australia.²³² (William Edwin BASTER was born on 1 Oct 1858 in Spring Creek, Victoria, Australia ²³⁴, christened on 24 Oct 1858 in Beechworth, Victoria, Australia ²³⁵ and died on 5 Oct 1941 in Auckland, New Zealand ²³⁵.)
