She stayed with Joseph Wilkins and his wife Louisa who may have been living at the Upper Star Inn at Forest Green, Nailsworth. Clara went on to marry the son of Joseph, Edward Wilkins in 1896 at Stroud and then both of them went to Australia sometime before 1898.
