Rupert George Coridas enlisted on 17 Feb 1915 in Melbourne. He was described as a labourer, born near the town of Wadelock, in County on Tanjil, Victoria. He was 21 yrs old, 5 ft 8 5/8 inches high, weighed 10 stone 3 lbs with a 36 in chest. He had a fair complexion, light blue eyes, fair hair and was Church of England.
He served at Gallipoli, got frostbite on 30 Aug 1815, arrived at Heliopolis on 14 Dec 1915, served in Ghizereh, Canel Zone and Alexandria. On 30 Mar 1916 he was transferred to Marseilles via the Osmanieh and on 28 Juky 1916 he was killed in action.
