Shih Tzu (pronounced Sheed-Zoo) dogs supposedly originated in the temples of Tibet. They are loving and loyal pets that love nothing more than sitting under your chair. It is a great wonder that Toddles' tail has not been broken from the number of times that one of the office-type chairs has run over it! The late JoAnn Regelman, author of "Shih Tzu" called them "fur people" but they are really Ewoks disguised as Teddy Bears. We keep Toddles trimmed (and painfully brushed) in a "puppy cut". Very soon we hope to have another Shih Tzu (girl) puppy.
